Honky Tonk Saturday Nights
Thats right! Looking for some old west entertainment this Saturday? I was perusing the Old Tucson website and saw this on their sidebar. Every Saturday through Labor Day you can head over for their Honky Tonk Saturday night complete with a chuck wagon dinner and bull riding. The gates open at 6 pm and the rodeo starts at 7:30 pm. Its a nice time to visit Old Tucson since the weather is much more agreeable after dark than in the afternoons right now.
Old Tucson movie studios is an authentic movie set. Built back in 1939 the old west town has had many great actors and actresses cross its boards. It really is an interesting place to visit. There is a museum with props from various movies and it is fun to stroll through town taking in the live-action demonstrations throughout the day. Trail rides are available as well.
So head over to their website Old Tucson to get updated information about this piece of historic Tucson.

Yeah, Nightfall is great in the October. Amber, if you are not already planning to, you should definitely do a post about Nightfall around when it starts.
